Multilingualism has became a part of globalization and in the foreseeable future will be normal
to more then 1 speak language.
“More or less the natural stale. In most of the world
multilingualism is anormal condition of people”.Mr.Anderson said.
Multilingualism is a situation that must be respected
in all countries where different mother tongues are spoken.
In a globalized world the advantages of knowing
foreign languages are unquestionable, language is a way to understand other
forms of life, thus propagating values of intercultural tolerance.
Multilingualism is a characteristic of the globalized
world. In this context, learning another language implies having more
opportunities to establish relationships with people whose perspectives are
different from ours, as well as to appreciate the plurality of the world.
Making some considerations about globalization and
multilingualism, it is exposed that the intercultural bilingual education that
is in an initial process of consolidation, seeks to respond to the challenges
of both global and local diversity.
